River City Pipe Band is a performance (non-competition) pipe and drum band. The band, and individual pipers, can be hired to perform at your special event. Click on the Hire The Band and/or Hire Pipers buttons for information about hiring us for your special event.

Money earned from band performances is used to purchase uniforms, instruments, and additional piping/drumming instruction. You can also help support the band by purchasing items from the Band Store.

Band members have performed at highland games, graduations, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, farmers' markets, weddings, birthday parties, memorial services, and more. Click the Performances button for information about upcoming and past performances. (There are also pictures from some of the past performances.)

Information about our free piping and drumming classes can be found by clicking on the Instruction button. Beginner classes are held at 7:30pm and 8:15pm on Tuesday evenings. Band practice/rehearsal starts at 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings.

Band practice sessions and classes are open to all pipers, drummers, and visitors. Contact us before visiting in case practice gets cancelled for a performance.
